Back next week!

Back next week!

Emma has made me some FRUTS with Fimo which I am now adorning my work desk with. If I played JRPG’s or had an affinity with mandollies I would have those on my desk, but I don’t; so FRUTS it is.
P.S. Note the lack of pulmz. I don’t like pulmz.
This week, Cuthbert and Wayne experience the aggravation of waiting for Parcel Force to deliver miniature action figures, and start a new job at PC World where they try to enlighten souls with the joys of using Linux
This episode, Cuthbert and Wayne discuss ID Cards, Facebook, and discover a fun new meme!

Finally, after many many years of wishing, I have acquired an arcade cab of me very own.
I’ve got two PCB’s which should see me straight for a very long time; the elegant and bizarre Parodius (in my opinion the perfect horizontal shmup) and hopefully today my long awaited Pac Land board should be with me.
Happy does not even begin to describe how this makes me!
The monitor is fucking sharp, and the stick and buttons are absolutely gorgeous. It does need a bit of MDF to be attached to the front surround of the monitor, but as it was quite cheap and it works like a dream it’s not a problem!

Oh, it really is magnificent. A dream come true. And a special thankyou to Emmy for being wonderful and allowing me to turn our spare room into a man-child heaven! She doesn’t half rock, you know.
But this PacLand obsession of mine; I’ve always loved Pac Land, but why am I suddenly so interested in a game about a little chap running across town and through forests to get to his good lady? All will be revealed soon… hopefully February 14th 2009…

Hows that for a juicy dangler!

This weekend I partook in a lovely drive from Sutton, to Weston-super-Mare and back to visit the folks. On the way I listened almost exclusively to Autobahn.
I really do think that Autobahn is one of the great pinnacles of human achievement, comparable in majesty to the pyramids and democracy. Does a better driving album exist at all? Oxygene certainly comes close, as does Tubular Bells, but nothing beats the perfect encapturing of the monotony and motion of driving down the M4 like Autobahn does.
Also on the playlist for this journey was the Kleptones ‘A Night at the HipHopera’ and YT Cracker’s ‘Nerdrap Entertainment System’. Both also good music for driving to. (and also freely downloadable! - check them out!)
This morning me and Emmy woke up to a lovely 4 inches of snow outside our house! We ran outside to have a frolic, and a nice Fox came and joined in…

Isn’t he a lovely chap!
We went to Hampton Court the day previous with my sister and brother in law, and learned all about Henry VIII. It was a very nice day out! Bit nippy mind.
Everyone knows that the best games are games which have fruit in them - Pac-Land, Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, Bangai-O, and Qwak to name but a few.
Everyone loves a good Fruit ‘em Up, so if you’re in the market for a place to read all the latest news about fruit in games (a.k.a. FRUITZ) then you’d best visit the new online resource called Fruitaku.

The internet’s ultimate resource for Videogames which have fruit in.
All fruitz, all videogames, all the time.
This is our Biube with our lovely Guppies and a Siamese Fighting Fish in it. It provides me with many a pleasant moment of fish contemplation.
Me and Emmy had a nice weekend! Look at our faces!

That’s it really. Bye!
